Special Kinder 101 Tiger Talk

We are very excited to welcome our incoming 2025-20264 Kindergarten Tigers and their parents and/or guardians for WCHE Kinder 101.

The Kinder 101 will be held in our school Library. We plan to start our meeting at 12:45 pm. When you arrive, please enter through the Library patio gate near the flagpole (watch for our sign!) Kinder students will gather in the Library "classroom" while parents and guardians are visiting and finding seats.

Our Kindergarten teaching team will arrive at the beginning of our Kinder 101 so that we can introduce them to you. Then they'll escort our 2025-26 Kinder Tigers to visit their new classrooms and to participate in some fun activities.

While our new Tigers are having fun, we'll have an opportunity to share with you some information about our school that we hope you will find reassuring and helpful. We are, also, happy to answer your questions.

Hi families! You are invited to sign up* for our Kinder entry evaluation for our incoming Tiger Kinder students of 2025-2026.

We are looking forward to another amazing Kindergarten school year at WCHE!

The purpose of the Kindergarten Entry Evaluation is to assess your child's social and academic skills, as well as, to assist teachers in placing your child in the most conducive classroom environment based on your child's needs. WCHE Kindergarten and other grade level teachers will be conducting the evaluations.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, please bring your child to the designated room number that is assigned to the time slot you have signed up for. Please pick up your child from that same room at the designated end time. Our fabulous WCH PTO is also sponsoring a fun Kinder Play Date that day on our Kinder playground. More info about this to come soon. We hope you will join us!

Thanks to our fabulous PTO, supplies can be ordered online from schoolkidz at your convenience! The online prepackaged grade level supplies can be ordered until May 30, 2025. If you purchase your student school supplies online, the supplies will be delivered to the school before the first day of school. Grade appropriate kits are available to order online now. We also have lists of the school supplies for 2025-2026 so that, if you prefer, you can purchase the supplies on your own from any source convenient to you.
