Sierra Ertsgard, 2011 graduate, has returned back to the Hill! She has joined the Food Services staff as their Administrative Assistant, replacing former Administrative Assistant Diane Wilson. Sierra will be working under Matt Greenberg, Director of Food Services for the DCRSD, and will be responsible for invoicing, payroll, and student lunch accounts. Welcome back to the Hill, Sierra!

Hello, everyone! Tim Cormier chiming in here, member of the class of 2000, current English teacher at Shepherd Hill, and co-owner of Green Light Baking in Dudley. For 2023, I have decided to turn a love of cycling into an opportunity to raise money for a really great cause. I’m taking on the Pan Mass Challenge. The PMC has raised over $831 million since 1980 and what is phenomenal about this huge event is that 100% of the donations goes directly to Dana-Farber.

All of the life-saving research and treatments take money and I would appreciate any donation you might be able to make to support me and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I am committed to reaching my goal of raising at least $6,000. Please consider donating to this most excellent charitable event.

I will be wearing ribbons pinned to my jersey during my ride to honor loved ones whose lives have been affected by cancer. I honor my late Nana, my surviving paternal grandmother and her six late sisters, two of my aunts, my cousin, my great aunt, and anyone else who has fought their battle with cancer. If there is someone in your life you would like to celebrate, please don’t hesitate to let me know the name you would like me to honor. I will carry that person with me as I ride.

The DCEF will be honoring 10 members of the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District at an awards dinner on April 1st, 2023 at the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center. In addition to honoring the honorees, there will dancing and a silent auction, with proceeds to benefit the DCEF. Tickets can be purchased here.
