Athletics Update โ Strong Start to the Month!
We began this month with exciting news from our school soccer team. In a thrilling match that ended 1โ1 in regulation, our players pushed through five intense penalty kicks with the score still tied.
In the decisive final round of penalties, our team secured the win.
Their determination, discipline, and teamwork were outstanding from start to finish. Competing under pressure and finishing strong reflects the character and commitment of our athletes.
We continue our championship journey with confidence and pride.
Black History Month Athletic Highlight
In recognition of Black History Month, the Athletic Department has prepared a special feature honoring Black American athletes who have made significant contributions to sports and history. This display highlights perseverance, leadership, resilience, and excellence, values we strive to instill in all of our students.
We believe this feature will serve as an inspiration for our school community and help students see how sports can be a powerful platform for positive change, character development, and leadership.
Thank you for being a part of the Horizon Athletics family.
๐ Library Update
We are excited to share that our library is now fully open and operating. Students are actively checking books in and out, and the space is already becoming a vibrant center for reading and learning. We are currently adding the final decorative touches to make the environment even more welcoming and inspiring. Soon, families will receive a detailed email outlining library guidelines along with a link for online checkout, allowing students to reserve books from home and conveniently pick them up the next day.
