2026 LHS Graduation Day

Civics Project

Lunenburg High students, Jaxon DiRusso, Nico Garcia Rodriguez, Chris Katis, Lucas Kolod, and Nathan Majovski built a pollinator garden for the Lunenburg Middle-High School grounds as their civics project in Mr. Stevenson's Civic & Community Engagement class. The boys built the wood structure at home, transported it to the school, and then worked with Ms. Gearin to plant appropriate flowers.

SENIORS CAN ACCESS GOOGLE ACCOUNTS THROUGH JULY 31

Senior accounts will now be open until July 31st. After that they will be deleted. If you'd like to keep a couple documents or most of your files, there are steps you can take. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Vallee at pvallee@lunenburgschools.net or the IT Department at help@lunenburgschools.net

  • You can't simply share from your school Google account to a personal Google account, because access will be lost once the original school account is deleted.
  • If you only have a few folders or individual documents (like a resume or great essay you wrote) you'd like to keep, you could download each one to your home computer.
  • You can also follow the steps in this How to Transfer or Download Google Files guide -https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gwQNEK5XYWoW3HmoyDHG7CDdc_XXCqUCG6zNN0i2Q4E/edit?usp=sharing

Water Bottle Reminder

With the warmer weather returning, it is especially important for students to stay hydrated. Water bottle refill stations are available. Please send your student with a water bottle each day.

Seasonal Allergies Tips

  • Reduce Exposure: Keep doors and windows closed and use air conditioning in your house and car to filter air.

  • Avoid hanging laundry outside, as pollen sticks to towels, sheets and clothes.

  • If you have forced air heating or air conditioning in your house, use high-efficiency filters and follow regular maintenance schedules.

  • Keep indoor air dry with a dehumidifier.

  • Use a portable high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter in your bedroom.

  • Clean floors often with a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA filter.

  • After-School Routine: Have children wash hands and face immediately upon entering the house to prevent spreading pollen. Remove clothes you’ve worn outside. A shower at bedtime is recommended to remove pollen from hair and skin.

  • Wash sheets and pillow cases regularly.

  • Monitor Pollen Counts: Check local daily reports; limit outdoor activity on high-pollen or dry, windy days.

  • Avoid lawn mowing, weed pulling and other gardening chores that stir up allergens.

  • Wear a face mask if you do outside chores.

Medication Management: Consider non-drowsy, daily antihistamines (like Allegra, Zyrtec or Claritin) after checking with your pediatrician, rather than relying solely on fast-acting meds, which can cause drowsiness. These medications need to be taken daily to be effective and once a day medications need to be taken at home.

Please Check Power school

There are only about 4 days left before the year ends. While students are excited about the upcoming school break, please continue to monitor your child's grades and progress through PowerSchool.
