Deer Run Families,
We are excited to announce that next week is Spirit Week at Deer Run! This is always a fun time for our students and staff to show their school spirit and celebrate our community together.
In addition, we will also be kicking off our Food Donation Drive to support local families in need. Your generosity will make a big difference, and we are grateful for your partnership in teaching our students the importance of kindness and giving back.
Please see the chart below for details on each Spirit Day theme and the Food Donation Drive schedule.
All of these events lead up to the Deer Run Run next Friday!
Please be sure to look at the details below about schedules and grade-level participation for next Friday. We encourage all families to join us in cheering on our runners—it’s always a highlight of the school year!
Thank you, as always, for your support. We can’t wait to see everyone at the Deer Run Run!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Cropper GIS will present in the Performing Arts Center, followed by a review of proposed boundaries in the Commons. The first session will take place at Coffman High School at 6:00 p.m., followed by a second session at Jerome High School at 7:30 p.m. Families are welcome to attend the session that is most convenient for them. Dublin City Schools is happy to collaborate with a variety of local organizations to bring families a after school enrichment opportunities for students! Explore the After School Activities page to discover programs your child will love. Many classes start very soon, but even if a class has already started, it’s not too late to enroll your student.
Dismissal Changes
In the event of an emergency and the need to change a student's dismissal method be sure to send an email to the classroom teacher AND the attendance email (Dres_attendance@dublinschools.net). Teachers are extremely busy during the school day, therefore, it is not guaranteed that the teacher would have time to review the parent email prior to dismissal. Be sure to submit changes as early as possible to increase the likelihood that the communication will be received by our school team prior to dismissal.
Student Car Drop Off and Pick Up
As a reminder, car drop off and pick up for all students should take place at the back door of the school. Last school year, students were being dropped off at Grizzell, in the school parking lot, and in the neighborhood adjacent to the school. We want to ensure that all of our students are safely dropped off at school, therefore only the backdoor area should be used. Also, we also want to be considerate of our neighbors that live in the homes adjacent to the school. Therefore, adhering to this guidelines is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Gymnastics Unit in PE Class
PE will be starting a gymnastics unit next week, Sept. 29. All students must have socks for their safety for this unit. Gymnastics will be from Sept. 29-October 22.

Dublin City Schools Updates
Friday, October 3, 2025
High School Redistricting Draft Maps and Feedback Cropper GIS encourages everyone to take a few minutes to preview the Draft Maps and complete this survey, which allows you to provide feedback on the proposed boundary changes. Whether your feedback is positive or suggests areas for improvement, all input is valuable and will help guide the final decisions. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and participating in this important process! From the City of Dublin It's Fall Flushing Season! The Washington Township Fire Department has begun the process of flushing hydrants around the City. Flushing will happen daily, but there is no exact timing of when it will occur in each neighborhood. Residents may notice rusty or discolored water — just run your faucets until it clears. Also, be careful with laundry during flushing days. The purpose is to remove sediment from our main water lines, which helps maintain water quality and extend the life of hydrants and water lines. It also identifies potential system issues. For questions or concerns, please contact Washington Township Administration at 614-652-3920. Washington Township It's Time To Rake Them Right Dublin’s Fall Leaf Collection kicks off Oct. 6. Check your zone and collection dates so you know when crews will be in your neighborhood. Learn how to "Rake Them Right" and keep storm drains and waterways clear. If your zone is not scheduled for collection that week, you can place leaves in biodegradable bags for yard waste pick-up. Track street-by-street updates anytime using the LeafGo app. Just search your address for real-time information on leaf pick-up. Rake up more info at bit.ly/DublinLeafCollection Meet The Candidate Night Meet the Candidates Night, 6-9 p.m., Oct. 16 —free to attend, but registration is required.
