Dear families,

We hope that you are keeping up with all the events going on, because there are so many! We are still doing lots of learning, but it may look a little different. We have had some fun visits from ferrets, bearded dragons and even Bundy Miller! (Mrs. Miller's dog) 5th grade has been participating in potato Olympics over the last week. We hope that you are all enjoying seeing pictures on our Facebook page.

Don't forget we are out of school Friday. Next Thursday, we will have our end of year awards and program. If you would like to check out your child, please complete the form below. All students who stay will be dismissed at 12:45.

3rd - 5th Grade parents, please make sure you visit with your child if they have a letter about Summer Olympics - students have been invited based on benchmark scores. STAAR scores will be returned no earlier than May 30, and we will call as soon as we have results. Sport camps are also going on during June, and students may come to Summer Olympics/School if needed after sport camp.

Counselor Corner

During the 6th 6-Weeks, counselor lessons will focus on the concept of kindness. This time of year can be hard-- schedules are busy, bedtimes get pushed back, etc. Kids are tired & tried creates grumpy moods. We will take time during lessons to refocus and remember our manners & respect. When we take time to consider how we're treating others we often are rewarded with pleasant interactions. In a world where you can be anything, be kind!
