Dress Code Reminders

As spring and warmer weather are here, we want to remind students and parents of the dress code for Muenster Elementary. I have highlighted some specific areas of concern below. Dress code violations do follow our discipline procedures. Thank you for helping your children to choose appropriate clothing for school dress.

Click HERE to see the full descriptions from the 24-25 MISD student handbook.

PROHIBITED:

When a boy’s hair is straightened or dried it should not extend below the top of the collar, over the eyebrows, and below the bottom of the ear.
Drastic or unnatural hair coloring
Ornaments that are entwined or braided into the hair

All house shoes
Pajamas (except on theme days)
Pants with holes that expose skin above the knee or are excessively frayed, sagging, or baggy

BOYS & GIRLS:

Shorts, skorts, skirts, and dresses must reach mid-thigh or longer allowing the student to stand, sit, or bend with modesty. The same applies if there is a slit in the front, back, or side of the garment.

Leggings and jeggings are ONLY ALLOWED if the top is of appropriate length (covers their bottom).

Cafeteria Menus

Muenster ISD Cafeteria Menus are now available at https://www.muensterisd.net/departments/student-nutrition. Money needed in meal accounts for any meal, milk only purchase, extra side only purchase, “seconds”, or any snack item from snack line.
