Dear Allenwood Families,

May has arrived, and with it comes an exciting flurry of activities as we head into the final stretch of the school year. Our students and staff have worked hard all year, and we are proud to showcase their achievements and celebrate our school community. Here’s a look at what’s happening this month at Allenwood:

End-of-Year Assessments

• April 28 – May 2: NJSLA 4th & 5th Grade ELA and Math Assessments

• May 5 – May 9: NJSLA 3rd Grade ELA and Math Assessments

• May 12 – May 13: NJSLA 5th Grade Science Assessments

• May 12: iReady End-of-Year Assessment begins for students

School Events & Celebrations

• May 2: Spirit Day – Wear your favorite Star Wars attire!

• May 5 – May 9: Teacher Appreciation Week – Join us in celebrating our amazing educators!

• May 9:

  • Spirit Day – Show your school pride and wear Allenwood Green

  • Mayfair from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM – A fun-filled evening for families with games, food, and more!

• May 15: Allenwood’s Spring Concert at Wall Intermediate School – 7:00 PM
