Dear Morton Families,

Summer is almost over, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome your child to Morton next week! We can't wait to work together this year to create meaningful opportunities and experiences that help every child grow academically, socially, and personally.

One quick reminder: Back to School Night is Monday, August 17th, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. We hope to see all our students and families there as we kick off a wonderful new year together!

Important Fall Dates for Returning/New Morton Students:

August 17th- Back to School Night at Morton (5:30-7:00 p.m.)
August 19th- First Day for 6th Grade
August 20th- All Grades in Attendance

Student iPads

Students must bring their OPS-issued device to Back to School Night so they can log into Infinite Campus and view their schedule. If a student has a broken or malfunctioning iPad, they may drop it off with the Morton tech team on August 17th for repair.

New students will be issued iPads once school begins.

Office Staff

Our fabulous office staff is eager to welcome back our Panthers for the 2026-2027 school year! Meet Ms.Julie (L), Ms. Mandi (M), and Ms. Dora (R)!

School Supplies

Students will have necessary school supplies provided to them by the school. Some students choose to purchase additional supplies to assist with organization (e.g., folders); however, these are not required. We encourage students to carry a backpack to bring their charged OPS-issued iPad, a writing utensil, and lunch from home (if they are not eating school lunch) each day. Lockers are available upon request — students should see their administrator if they would like to be assigned one.

Morton Security Team

Our security team is always working to keep Morton safe and secure. Mr. Travis (L), Mr. Justin (M), and Mr. Salik (R) are excited to work alongside students and staff to keep it safe!

Health Office Information

As we prepare for the new school year, the Health Office kindly asks that parents/guardians bring any updated health documents to Back to School Night on August 17th. This includes current physical forms, updated vaccination records, and any medications that need to be kept at school, along with the required doctor's orders/authorization forms for administering them. Keeping our records current helps us ensure your child's health and safety throughout the school year. If you have any questions about required documentation, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Health Office. Thank you for helping us get the year off to a healthy start!

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Parents, please log into Infinite Campus and complete the Annual Update. This update allows the school the most accurate information for communicating with families, and it provides an opportunity for parents to review the Media Release form. An Easy link was sent to parents on August 13, 2026 that do not have an Infinite Campus account. This is a unique link to allow a parent to setup an account, and will expire on October 30, 2026.
