It's hard to believe we are already wrapping up September! Over the past several weeks, it has been wonderful to watch our students settle into their routines, build relationships, and grow as a school community. Our teachers and staff continue to work together each day to create joyful, meaningful learning experiences for every student, and I am so grateful for the partnership and support of our Reilly families. As we head into October, I'm excited for all of the learning, celebrations, and opportunities to come together that are ahead of us. Go Mustangs 💙💛

¡Es difícil creer que ya estamos terminando septiembre! Durante las últimas semanas, ha sido maravilloso ver a nuestros estudiantes adaptarse a sus rutinas, construir relaciones y crecer como comunidad escolar. Nuestros maestros y personal continúan trabajando juntos cada día para crear experiencias de aprendizaje alegres y significativas para cada estudiante, y estoy muy agradecido/a por la colaboración y el apoyo de nuestras familias de Reilly. A medida que nos nos adentramos en octubre, me entusiasman todo el aprendizaje, las celebraciones y las oportunidades de reunirnos que tenemos por delante. ¡Vamos Mustangs! 💙💛

• We are continuing to explore after-school care options for our PK3 students. While other providers may be able to serve Reilly in the future, launching a new program will require time for hiring and staff training.
• Please complete this short survey to help us understand family interest and potential enrollment as we explore additional after-school programming.

Creative Action is assessing family interest in joining and expanding our after school program at Reilly!

Our high-quality, onsite, licensed after school program​ accepts PK4 - 5th grade students and engages ​them in visual art, filmmaking, music, puppetry, creative writing, and acting, all while expanding the development of social and emotional skills.

Our program runs Monday - Friday at Reilly through 6 pm. We encourage you to join the waitlist as soon as possible to help us gauge interest. We will need 10-13 interested students in order to open up space in the program. Our team will reach out to waitlist families with updates. JOIN THE WAITLIST HERE!

Austin Youth Fitness is gearing up for Session #2 at Reilly! With the weather cooling off, it's a great time to join the fun!

What is Run Club? AYF Run Club makes running fun through games and movement-based activities that build fundamental skills, confidence, and healthy habits for life.

Join our Reilly Community in the Viva la Vida Parade!

• Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 in downtown Austin
• Time: We’ll meet at 10 a.m. during the staging & check-in time at the corner of 6th Street & Red River. The parade starts at 12 p.m and will last about 1 hour.
  
• How to join: We are required to give an estimate of participants to the organizers. If you are joining us, please fill out this sign up sheet. This will also allow us to estimate food/treat purchases for our group.
• Parade Planning Meeting: Join us for a parade planning meeting on Tuesday, October 6th from 7:30-8:30pm. Attendees will learn what to expect at the parade and we'll gather ideas for crafting and parade group decor. Video link to the call is linked here.
• Join us for Craft Day on October 12 at Reilly before or after your parent/teacher conference: We'll have the PTA set up in the cafeteria where you can stop by to learn more about the parade, sign up to participate with us, and support our crafting efforts.

Nuestra PTA ha obtenido un lugar de participación para la comunidad de la Escuela Primaria Reilly en el "Desfile Viva la Vida", organizado por el Museo Mexic-Arte. El desfile, que forma parte de Día de los Muertos Celebrando Juntos, es el evento de Día de los Muertos más grande y de mayor trayectoria en Austin. ¡Esta es una oportunidad increíble para mostrarle a Austin lo orgullosos que estamos de la comunidad escolar de nuestros poderosos mustangs!

• Fecha: Sábado, 24 de octubre de 2026 en el centro de Austin.

• Hora: Nos reuniremos a las 10 a.m. durante la hora de registro y preparación en la esquina de la Calle 6 y Red River. El desfile comienza a las 12 p.m.
