Welcome to Vista Unified School District's vision and strategic planning process! This is a community-driven process and this is one of several opportunities to hear from you. We want to gather thoughts and feedback from as many of the diverse voices across our district as possible. This vision and strategic planning process will result in:
A Graduate Portrait—what do we want our students to know, be, and be able to do by the time they graduate so that they can thrive in life and career?
An Adult Portrait—what do adults need to know, be, and be able to do to support every student in attaining the Graduate Portrait? Note, adults here refers to every adult working in the school system, not just classroom teachers.
A System Portrait—how might the system need to change in order to support the adults to support the students?
Refreshed Core Values - how might our core values need to be updated?
A Strategic Plan that will help us to implement the vision.
