Principal's Message
Good Evening Vista Academy Families,
It truly felt like fall this week around campus as we felt the cooler weather, the increasing clouds, and the fall rush of activities. Our Dia de los Muertos event on Thursday evening was a huge success filled with dancing, music, food and a beautiful sense of community. The student performances were outstanding! Thank you to Ms. Maria Gonzalez for planning such a wonderful event and to the many staff and parents who made it possible.
We Need Your Help!!!
The incoming rain held out and the Spooktacular Stroll-a-thon was a blast! Seeing the students in their costumes and navigating the stations was so much fun. We have one more week to raise money for our school. There is still time to register and donate for the Stroll-a-thon. If you have not registered, please register and sign up your child to raise funds for our school. Share with friends and family all over. You can donate through the student websites or even write checks and drop off in the Foundation box. Make sure to label them with your student name, class, and Spooktacular-stroll-a-thon.
If every child raisesat least $35, we will reach our goal of $25,000 for our Foundation. We are depending on these funds to support this year’s budget, which provides so much for our school and students, including student and family events such as Día de los Niños, Winternational Festival, assemblies, and many more. The funds also support teacher and staff appreciation, scholarships for special arts-related projects and opportunities, classroom scholarships, schoolwide t-shirts, campout, and many others. If we meet our $25,000 goal, the entire school will receive a BMX Bike Show assembly.
Fall Book Fair This Week!
All classes will be visiting the book fair during their library time this week. If you would like your child to buy a couple books, please send them with money on their library day. You are also able to visit the book fair after school everyday this week and pick up a few books for your child, yourself or for holiday gifts.
Parent Conferences are in two weeks!
Be on the lookout for Parent Conference sign ups from your child's teacher. They are preparing progress reports and look forward to sharing your child's progress with you during the week of November 15 - 20.
Also, a staff member lost her rose gold wedding ring with a solitaire on Friday. It may be in the parking lot or somewhere around dampus. If you find it please turn it into the front office.

PTO Foundation
Dear VAPA Families,
VAPA FAMILIES,
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported our PTO Panda Express Fundraiser! We had a fantastic turnout, and we truly appreciate your continued support of our school!
WE’RE IN THE FINAL STRETCH!
We still have ONE WEEK left in our fundraiser, and we’re so close to reaching our $25,000 school-wide goal! And here’s the exciting part… if we reach our goal, the ENTIRE SCHOOL gets to enjoy a fun and educational BMX Assembly! So let’s RALLY TOGETHER! Keep sharing, keep spreading the word, and let’s raise those final dollars for our students!
LET’S GET READY TO STROLL!
As we celebrate all the hard work our students have put into this fundraiser, we’ll be having our annual Spooktacular Stroll-A-Thon on October 30th! But we need YOU to help make it a success! If you have an hour or two to spare, please consider signing up to volunteer. Whether you can help for a little or a lot, every helping hand makes a difference! Let’s finish this fundraiser STRONG and make October 30th a day our students won’t forget!
THANK YOU, VAPA FAMILIES, FOR ALWAYS SHOWING UP FOR OUR KIDS!
