From Our Librarian, Miss Holcomb
Hey parents!
The holidays are upon us. With winter break coming up, my goal is to get all the overdue books back to the library. Overdue notices have been sent home in your child's Thursday folder. Please look for the books and have them returned to the library by next Friday.
If a book has been missing for a month or longer, please consider paying the overdue fee if it is truly lost. We want to get books back into our kid's hands as fast as possible, so donations help greatly to achieve this goal. (Please note that cash donations are not accepted. Follow the instructions below to donate to our "Support the Library" page).
For your convenience, we use Bound To Stay Bound to pay for lost or damaged library books. This service allows us to quickly replace lost or damaged books and get them back into the library. Credit cards and debit cards are accepted.
To Pay for Lost or Damaged Books:
1. Obtain the replacement cost of the book from the Fisher librarian (Ms. Holcomb - holcombkr@friscoisd.org)
2. Go to our Support Our Library page: https://www.btsb.com/sosl/fisherelementary2
3. Please click Donate Now!
4. Click Donate Money.
5. Type your child’s name and teacher under Summary Item.
6. Enter the book replacement cost, given by Ms. Holcomb, in the Monetary Donation space.
7. Click Update and Continue.
8. Enter payment information. Once again, credit cards and debit cards are accepted.
9. Your librarian will receive notice of payment and credit your child’s account.
Thank you!
Miss Holcomb, Librarian
