Quarters for Christmas
Bring donation for quarters for Christmas to your English teachers. The class with the most donations will get a root beer float party!
Mini Parent Teacher Conferences
Instead of traditional parent teacher conferences throughout the year, Salem Jr holds mini conferences! The benefits of having mini conferences are that they happen more frequently, teachers spend time calling home for students they have concerns for prior to these conferences, students can receive tutoring during these hours, and families can come meet with the teacher. Mini conferences are divided into two different days so that student can have more time visiting multiple subjects.

Boys and Girls Club
My name is Jacob Scott, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Site Director for the Provo Clubhouse Teens with the Boys & Girls Club of Utah County. We’re thrilled to announce we are currently accepting registrations. We would love to extend a warm invitation to students from your school to join this exciting opportunity. The Provo Clubhouse Teens program offers a safe, engaging, and enriching space for middle school youth—filled with activities, leadership opportunities, and support. While our new facility is under construction, we will be temporarily based at Dixon Middle School. I’ve attached a flyer that way you can share with parents and students. You can also access more information or register directly through the following link: https://bgcutah.org/provo-clubhouse-teen/
UWLP
The Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) is conducting a statewide study to explore more deeply Utahns’ understanding, awareness, attitudes, concerns, and perceptions around challenges that women and girls face. We welcome all individuals living in the state age 18 or older to participate. The survey will take 10-20 minutes to complete. Dr. Susan Madsen is the primary researcher for this study. If you have questions or concerns, you can contact her at uwlp@usu.edu (USU IRB 15264). You can participate by clicking here.
