The Speech Spot

Introduction to Mrs. Karloff
Hi there Aronimink Families!
Although many of you have seen me at events or in the main office, you might be wondering, "Who is she?" "What does she do here?" I am here to answer all of those questions and shed some light on what a Speech/Language Pathologist does at school.
Some fun facts about me:
-I have been at Upper Darby School District since 2010 (about 16 years) and at Aronimink for 10 years.
-I completed my undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Pittsburgh. Hail to Pitt!
-I have two kids at home - Maisie (3) and Cooper (5)
-I was born in California, raised in NY and have lived in PA since 2007

Great for building expressive language and vocabulary. Encourage children to describe independently. Learn words to sequence (first, next, after, last) and describing words (chilly, largest, smallest, wintery). Remember not to skip scenes!
