Veterans Day at St. Albans City Hall
Thank you to St. Albans City School's Team USA for putting together the celebration for our Veterans. While the snow may have moved the ceremony from Taylor Park to City Hall the thanks and appreciation from our student and guest speakers was overwhelming. A special thank you to SATEC's Beckett Nicholls for his heart felt speech in honor of our Veterans.

Each holiday season, the SATEC community comes together to give back in meaningful ways. This year, we are excited to continue our tradition of hosting a food drive to support Operation Happiness. We invite families to contribute non-perishable food items, which students can bring to school and leave in collection areas designated by grade level.
Operation Happiness is a community initiative run by dedicated volunteers and relies on the generosity of our community. Each year, more than 300 volunteers join together to provide baskets of food during the holidays to over 1,100 families throughout Franklin and Grand Isle Counties (fgiunitedway.org).
Thanks to your generosity, SATEC families have proudly donated over 7,000 items through this effort. Your support truly makes a difference. Thank you for helping us spread joy this season!

Jay Peak - Class to Pass Program - Grades 4-8

Interested students should request an application from their teacher.
The applications include a one-paragraph response explaining why they would like to participate. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, with a final deadline of Monday, December 1st, 2025, by the end of the school day.
Teachers will collect submissions. Applications will be reviewed weekly and select up to 100 students, considering both the order received and the quality of the response submitted.
To submit an entry, students must include both the completed application form signed by a parent/caregiver and their written response and return it to their teacher prior to the deadline. No submissions can be accepted after the deadline.
SATEC will be submitting their complete list to Jay Peak on December 5th
