WI Forward State Testing
Meyer Middle School students will be taking the WI Forward assessment the week of April 13th - April 17th.
Here are a few reminders:
- All students will test in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics
Students in grade 8 will also test in the areas of Science and Social Studies
Performance on the assessment will not affect any current grades, however it does impact our school rating and provides us with important information to meet our students’ needs
Please encourage your child to try their best, get plenty of rest and enjoy a healthy breakfast each day during testing week. Students not in school on the scheduled testing days will be scheduled for make-up tests the following week.
Summer Activities & Camps for Middle School Students
The MMS Counseling Department put together a list of summer activities available for Middle School students in our community. Please note that this list is provided for informational purposes only. Our school is not affiliated with, nor do we specifically endorse the programs included. We simply want to share opportunities that we are aware of so families can keep their kids busy this summer! If you have questions about any of the programs, reach out to the organizations directly. Many of the activities and camps have scholarships available if there is a financial need.
If you know of other activities that are available for middle school students, email one of the school counselors and we can add it to the list to share!
Our Neighbors' Place has moved to a temporary location: 103 N Main Street in downtown River Falls
What you'll find at the temporary location:
CLOSET THRIFT STORE: Gently used men's and women's clothing, shoes, outerwear, and accessories.
**We are open to the public and we appreciate your donations of gently used, clean adult clothing, shoes, outerwear, and accessories - accepted any time the thrift store is open.
