Vocal Power students collaborated to create harmonies for their favorite songs. They also learned how to read a choral octavo and endeavored to blend their voices by matching their vocal resonance. The Music 6 classes are continuing to explore rhythm and musical notation. This week they created rhythm patterns in 4/4 meter. The Musical Theatre Workshop Classes are starting on their class musicals. The seventh grade has chosen "Willy Wonka Kids!" The All School Musical is a student chaired production.

Students lead and work all of the crews: Choreography, Costumes, Dance Captains, Hair & Make-up, Lights, Prop Construction, Publicity, Set Construction, Sound, and Stage.

All students who audition for the musical are cast!

Sign-Ups for auditions and the crews will be in the October newsletters.

Musical 2025 will be our 18th Musical!

All High School Musical related information is posted on Mrs. Broeker's Website

Can Sixth and Seventh Graders get Leads?

Absolutely, if their audition is better than the Eighth Graders.

Do I have to audition in front of people?

Yes, you will be performing in front of people.

What if I am not happy with my audition, can I schedule another audition?

No, there isn't time for people to schedule multiple auditions.

What if two students have equally great auditions. How do you choose?

1. Eighth grade always gets priority if everything else is equal.

2. Participation in 7/8 Singers, and Show Choir counts in your favor.
