Early Release on Tue. Dec. 23⛄

Dear Bedford Public Schools Community,

Based on the current weather forecast and the anticipated timing of snowfall, and following consultation with area superintendents, the Bedford Department of Public Works, the Facilities team, and Bedford Charter bus company, I have determined that there will be an early release day tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23rd.

Please note that lunch will not be served, preschool will be canceled, and afternoon activities are canceled (with the exception that I have authorized the Athletic Director to make separate "game time" determinations for the hockey game and swim meet that are scheduled). Dismissal times are as follows:

JGMS: 11:05 am

BHS: 11:08 am

Lane: 11:30 am

Davis: 12:05 pm

Preschool: No School

Afternoon Activities: Canceled with Athletic Director discretion for hockey game/swim meet

This decision is being made to prioritize student and staff safety and to ensure safe transportation conditions as weather conditions develop. Bagged lunches will be available for pick up if students would like one. As this will be the final day of school for students before the winter break, we wish all of our students, families, and staff a safe, restful, and enjoyable break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026!

Best wishes,

Cliff Chuang 莊 宏 毅
