Strong Roots, Strong Community
Growing Generosity and Support for Those in Need
"We want to make a difference in the lives of our students. We want them to learn how to make a difference in their own lives and to make a difference in the lives of others."
We see a need, and we want to participate as active members of a community that makes a difference by taking action to help others in need—in this case, those experiencing food insecurity. PTO and We Don't Waste are our partners as Lone Tree Elementary students and staff work to help those going through tough and uncertain times and are in need of food assistance.

Yearbook Theme and Cover Contest
We invite all LTE students to enter their drawings for our Yearbook Cover Contest. Two
pieces of art will be selected by a panel of judges—one for the front cover, one for the back cover. Entries not chosen for the covers may be displayed as Honorable Mentions inside the yearbook.
Link here for more information and the Yearbook Cover Submission Form.
Entries due by Wednesday, November 19.
Please bring your entry to the art room.
Open Enrollment at LTE
Do you have a child who will begin Kindergarten in the fall of 2026? The first round of Open Enrollment for the 26/27 school year begins at 8:00 am, November 3rd and closes at 4:00 pm on December 1st. Link here for more information about DCSD Open Enrollment.
While siblings of currently enrolled students do have priority for enrollment, families must still complete the open enrollment process. As a reminder, if your child is currently enrolled at LTE, you do not need to repeat the open enrollment process.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Carin Buster, LTE Registrar.
