Hurley Ranch has collaborated with the district office, Dos Rios, and outside organizations in the crafting of a 21st Century Grant.
A 21st Century Grant provides significant financial support for after school programming that addresses specific skill focused interventions, robust STEM activities, and high-interest enrichment opportunities. Additionally, the infrastructure of the grant also provides collaborative opportunities with other model schools, state-level monitoring of effectiveness, and the
inclusion of outside organizations to support high-yield interactive activities for our students.
We have worked hard and are hopeful that we will be awarded this extremely competitive grant. I will keep you appraised of our progress and look forward to having all stakeholders participate in the implementation steps…a wonderful opportunity to continue our efforts to build community!
