Community- Pride- Commitment

Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions we were not able to have the Veterans Day Breakfast this year. We are hoping to bring the tradition back next year. In honor of Veteran's Day on Nov. 11, Ms. Sullivan will be placing flags in our front lawn. Ms. Gogolinski has hung pictures in the hallway to honor family members of staff and students who served. We have asked students and staff to wear red on Friday to honor our veterans.

Based on the survey results, we will schedule a virtual parent meeting for next week. I will send out the day and google meet link later this week.

We will continue our student assemblies by house through November to address the social emotional needs of our students. We will meet with students on the following days:

11/12

11/15

11/22

11/29

Picture retakes have been scheduled for Tuesday, November 23.

We had a great meeting with our School Council last Thursday. Topics included the school improvement plan and creating an inclusive culture for all our families. One of our main goals this year is to get over 80% of our families involved with NMS. I will continue to update you with future plans/events from the school council.

We are excited to announce Wednesday, December 14 will be our winter band/chorus concert! We will keep you updated on details.
