March 2024 Employee Newsletter
We Want to Hear From You
We are excited to announce EPS has purchased a software to begin regular employee surveys. We have partnered with a company called Satchel Pulse to conduct these surveys and we will be sending them regularly throughout the year. This company was chosen due to their focus on K-12 education. Their surveys allow us to frequently gauge the pulse of our work environment and measure those results over time throughout the year.
We need your help to make this successful! It is part of our strategic plan to improve our employee retention and recruiting and these surveys will help us measure how we are doing as a district. Beginning in a couple weeks, employees will receive a short (10-15 question) survey to complete. These are completely anonymous and we encourage you to be as open and honest as possible – both on positives and negatives. Employees will also have the ability to leave comments related to specific questions.
When the 24-25 school year begins, you should receive a survey every 7-8 weeks in order to continue to measure our progress. Results will be used by site and district administration to identify areas of strength and growth to continue to improve the culture and climate at EPS. If you have any questions about how this works, please reach out to Randy Decker in HR.

Navigating TikTok
This month’s Smart Social Tip of the Month is full of information on a social media app we hear a lot about in the news, TikTok. What is it exactly? Why do students want to spend time on the app? What should you know about it as parents or guardians? And what are some of the biggest concerns related to TikTok? That information is available by clicking this link: https://smartsocial.com/post/tiktok-app?org=edmond
Remember, this is a free resource EPS is providing our families for the remainder of this school year. If you haven’t signed up for your free account yet, when you click the link it will prompt you to sign up.
Something Worth Sharing
March is Youth Fine Arts month and we wanted to share what Fine Arts means to some of our EPS students. Enjoy!
