Building and District Updates

We made it!! I know many of you have been in the district for years, but I want to thank all of you for a great first year.

In this monthly update you will learn more about the following:

1. Strategic Planning: 5 Year Strategic Plan
2. What's Happening in Our Buildings?
3. Communication Outlets
4. Superintendent's Message: Wow, that flew by

The first draft of our 5 year strategic plan should be ready by the end of the month. From there we will be putting the final touches on it over the course of July. The final product will be ready to share in early August. The work that will take place in each building will directly align with that plan and it will all correlate with our new mission and vision. (see graphic below).

As you know we plan to move forward with another GO bond vote in November. More details to come on this, but the future is exciting!!

A couple of our buildings have updates heading into summer. Check out Pence and the High School!

We have a variety of ways to stay connected with all things FCSD. Please check out these options connected to the district as a whole, and like or follow them!

As I wrap up my first year as superintendent, I find myself reflecting on how quickly time has passed. This year has been full of hard work, learning, and growth. None of it would have been possible without the support and patience of our incredible staff, students, families, and community. I’m truly thankful for the warm welcome and collaboration I’ve experienced in every corner of our district this year. Together, we've laid the groundwork for a future built on trust, shared purpose, open lines of communication, and continuous improvement.

The journey is just beginning, as I know there is much work to be done. I am excited for what lies ahead. Enjoy the summer, your kids at home, and everything in between!
