A Message from Principal Anita O'Neill
November 30, 2025
Dear Coyote Community,
I hope everyone enjoyed some much-needed downtime over the Thanksgiving break and had a chance to reconnect with family and friends. It’s hard to believe that tomorrow marks the start of December—and that we have only 17 school days before winter break! These next few weeks are important. Students should remain focused, attend all classes, and put forth their best effort. With the first semester ending shortly after winter break, there is limited time to catch up.
I am excited to share that we are hosting our very first Scholastic Book Fair, thanks to Ms. Blanchard and the Library Advisory Board (LAB). We hope this event inspires students to discover new books and perhaps pick up a gift or two for loved ones. See the flyer below for information.
This Friday, we will kick off the winter sports season with a high-energy pep rally. Students will have the opportunity to cheer on our student-athletes and celebrate our vibrant school community. The Clarksburg Athletics Boosters will also be selling Clarksburg swag—please see the flyer below for accepted forms of payment.
As basketball season begins, I want to remind our community about game-day logistics:
Parking: Please park in the bus loop at the front of the building. The limited parking near the gym is reserved for coaches, teams, and officials. Fans will not be permitted to enter through that side of the building.
Entry: After parking, enter through the front doors and follow the signs directing you to the gym, located in the back left corner of the building.
Ticketing: Our ticket taker will be stationed in the hallway leading to the gym to check in attendees.
Looking ahead, our Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) will hold our quarterly review of the School Improvement Plan (SIP) on Tuesday, December 9, from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. Staff, students and caregivers interested in attending are invited to sign up here by December 5 so we can plan accordingly.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Clarksburg community. Here’s to a wonderful week ahead!
Warmly,
Ms. O’Neill
