Title I, Part A PFE Policy

Lamont Ramage Elementary receives federal Title I, Part A funds. These funds support our school in providing high-quality instruction for all students. Because we receive Title I funding, we are required to work together with families to create a Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) Policy each year.

This policy is created with parents, shared with parents, and reviewed and updated by parents to make sure we are meeting the needs of our families and our school community.

What the policy includes:

Our Parent and Family Engagement Policy explains:

• How our school participates in the Title I program
• Our commitment to meaningful family involvement in student learning
• How families can give input in school planning and improvement
• When and how the policy will be shared with families and the community
• The family events, learning opportunities, and communication tools we use to stay connected
• How we provide support to help families assist their children at home
• How we will evaluate our engagement activities each year with parent feedback
• How families can learn about our curriculum, assessments, and expected achievement goals
• Ways families can request meetings or support at any time

We are committed to offering Title I information sessions and family activities at flexible times so all families have opportunities to participate.

How families help guide our policy:

We use family input throughout the year, including:

✔ Parent surveys sent during summer registration
✔ Feedback forms offered at events and in newsletters
✔ Title I information in our monthly Rams Title I Newsletter, including an ongoing ideas survey families may complete at any time
✔ Parent input during Campus Leadership Team and Annual Title I Meetings

Your voice matters — and helps shape the programs and supports we provide!
