May You Always Have Wildcat Pride
From The Principal's Desk
The end of the year is rapidly approaching and I'm sure many of you are looking forward to summer. As we finish out the next month of school there are many exciting events planned. Our second graders will attend 2nd grade Farm Day, the third graders will go to Third Grade History Day, junior high will take their honor roll trip to the Ace's game in Reno, 8th grade will take their annual 8th grade trip, the TK and kindergarten class will visit the zoo and we will end the month with our end of the year AR parties. These are just a few of the events planned, the calendar is full!
This school year has gone by so quickly and before we close out the year I would like to tell you all thank you for the past three years. It has been my pleasure getting to know you and your students. I have enjoyed watching them grow, seeing them learn, being a small part of their lives and being a Wildcat. While I won't be coming back with each of you in the fall I know the future holds great things for you and your students. I will miss each of your smiling faces! I hope you have a wonderful summer with your family and friends.

A Trip to the Farm… Just Like Charlotte’s Web! 🐷🕸️
Mrs. Herman’s second grade class has been enjoying their novel study of Charlotte’s Web, and their learning will come to life in the best way!
At the FFA-sponsored 2nd Grade Farm Day, students will meet real animals and explore how a farm works, making them feel like they had stepped right into the story. They will learn about animal care and daily farm life while connecting their reading to real-world experiences.
It will be a fun-filled day of hands-on learning, smiles, and unforgettable memories!
LCOE Brings the Universe to Our Campus
Our young scholars enjoyed an exciting experience as Student Council partnered with the Lassen County Office of Education (LCOE) to bring a traveling planetarium to campus. The giant dome filled our activity room, creating an immersive space for exploration.
Inside, students were captivated by virtual journeys through the deep ocean, the solar system, star gazing, and the moon. As the lights dimmed, they sat mesmerized by the 360-degree experience.
This hands-on event sparked curiosity, wonder, and a love of learning for all who attended.

Janesville's Got Talent!
Janesville Elementary is proud to celebrate the incredible success of our recent Mini Art Show! Our Wildcats truly showed just how much artistic talent and creativity fills our school.
A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Malone for organizing such a wonderful event and creating a space for our students to shine. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the retired Janesville teachers who generously volunteered their time and expertise to serve as judges.
The art show participants and winners were recognized in the gym during the event, held alongside the 6th grade pulled pork dinner fundraiser. It was a fantastic evening that brought together art, community, and support for our students.
Congratulations to all of the students who entered and to those who placed—your hard work and creativity are inspiring!

Girls Volleyball
The Janesville Elementary School community would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Coach Autry Satica for her incredible dedication and hard work this volleyball season. Coaching both teams is no small task, and her commitment, energy, and support have made a lasting impact on our Wildcat girls.
This season has been especially exciting, highlighted by Janesville hosting its own volleyball tournament, where the 7th grade team brought home a well-earned first-place victory. It was a proud moment for our school and a testament to the teamwork, determination, and guidance Coach Satica has fostered throughout the season.
Both teams have shown tremendous growth, strength, and sportsmanship, making this a truly memorable year. Thank you, Coach Satica, for inspiring our athletes and helping them achieve such an amazing, strong season. We are proud of our Wildcats!
