Weekly Update
September 12, 2025
From the Principal
Dear Families,
This has been a difficult week with all of the things going on around the country. It is a clear reminder that kindness, empathy and compassion are a much-needed part of our society. These qualities are part of what a Catholic education special and are virtues that we work on every day.
These events also remind us of the need to have our emergency information up to date. I put a webform in FACTS, but it seems that many are having difficulty accessing it. For this reason, I have PRINTED a medical form for each student and sent it home with directions on how to make corrections. All corrections will be entered by Mrs. Gaulrapp in the system, so please print legibly. There is still another form to fill out (Confidentiality & Non-disclosure form) in FACTS.
Next week is Spirit Week! Each day has a theme. On Friday we have a School Improvement Day and an early release (12:40 PM). Please make sure you have it on your calendar. We also have our Sock Hop on Friday night and hope you will join us!
We still have openings in every grade level in the event you know someone that is looking for a change. Please have them contact Mr. Peyton Glawe at peyton.glawe@aquinschools.org or 815-235-3154.
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Heitkamp
