Fremont Elementary School
SEPTEMBER 5, 2025
A Message From Mrs. Carmody
Dear Fremont Families,
We have officially wrapped up our first week back at school, and it has been wonderful seeing our hallways buzzing with energy again! I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating break. This post-break period is actually one of the most critical times in the academic calendar. The adjustment period of the fall is long gone, and our daily routines are deeply ingrained. This allows us to dive into some of the most complex, exciting, and rewarding learning of the year. Our teachers are focused on maximizing every single day we have left to ensure your child finishes their grade level strong and confident. Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to make these final months incredibly successful for your children. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Beth Carmody
Principal
Our K-2 students recently enjoyed an exciting visit from Firefighter Casey of the Countryside Fire Protection District! She taught the students how to identify items that are "safe vs. not safe" to touch and explained the life-saving importance of smoke detectors. It was a wonderful opportunity for our youngest learners to gain confidence in their fire safety skills.

We Want Your Feedback: Take Our Community Survey
Your feedback matters! If you have not yet done so, please take 3 minutes to complete our community survey to share your feedback, including your level of satisfaction with the District.
The survey will close on April 20 and final results will be shared on our website www.fsd79.org.
