This week, we are excited to launch our school fundraiser in partnership with our dedicated Henry PTO, and we need your support! The PTO is working hard to help us raise funds for much needed new cafeteria tables, and together we can make this goal a reality.
To kick things off, please take a moment to watch the short one minute video below, which shares more details about the fundraiser. We are thrilled to partner with Booster to provide ALL of our students with a fun and memorable experience throughout the fundraising campaign.
You can help by logging on to MyBooster.com and sharing the fundraiser with family and friends through social media. Every share and contribution makes a difference! For additional details, please see the PTO section below.

Counseling News
Author Visit - Coming Soon!
Henry is so excited to welcome author Aaron Reynolds on Wednesday, September 3rd. Aaron is the author and illustrator of many books, such as Creepy Carrots and Creepy Crayon. He will be promoting his new chapter book series featuring Jasper Rabbit, and his first book is called Jasper Rabbit's Creepy Tales: Troubling Tonsils. We would like to thank The Novel Neighbor, a bookstore in Webster Groves, for providing the opportunity to bring Arron to Henry! If your family would like to purchase an autographed copy of his books, you can order online here. A paper order form will also be coming home in the coming weeks.
Aaron will be presenting to grades K-2 in the library, and grades 4-5 will have the opportunity to live stream the visit from their classrooms. 3rd grade will be at specials during the visit and will have the opportunity to watch a recording of the visit at a later time. If you have any questions, or do not want your child to attend the visit, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Goyal at agoyal@parkwayschools.net.
New Cell Phone Policy/Device Policy
- Parkway Schools will be cell phone-free starting with the 2025-26 school year, per a new Missouri law.
- Cell phones and personal devices, including smartwatches, laptops, and tablets, must be turned off and put away during the school day at all K-12 schools.
- Our Board of Education adopted a new policy that aligns with this new state law. You can read more about our policy and the state law below:
What Does "Off and Away" Mean?
Off and away means we should not see or hear a student's cell phone or device during the school day.
Away means the device is put away inside a student's bag or other place where it cannot be seen.
Off means the device is either turned off, in airplane mode, or placed in do-not-disturb mode.
🐾 PTO Corner 🐾
The Henry PTO would like to welcome you all back to school. All year long we will be utilizing many ways to get our information to you. One of those is through Henry Happenings, so don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the email each week to find any updates and flyers for PTO hosted events. Paper flyers will be sent home on Fridays when applicable. And to get information out there in between the Sunday Henry Happenings and Friday Flyers, we will share info and links in our Facebook groups Henry Elementary PTO & Henry Elementary Parents and on our new Instagram page Henry Elementary PTO. We are also planning to use the PTO Website to share information again this year. But bear with us as the site is still a work in progress after the district updated all their webpages. We hope to gain access to updating our page soon. We will be sure to let you know when it is finished. To get things started, here is our calendar of events for 2025-26. Here's to a great year!
