Greenville County Schools is offering the PSAT/NMSQT testing opportunity for 8th grade students. Beck Academy will administer the digital PSAT/NMSQT during the school day on Wednesday, October 7th at 8:30 AM

Registration: Open now through Monday, August 24th.

Permission Slip: Students must return the signed permission slip (to their 4th period teacher) in order to test.

Fee: Students must pay $16.00 on GCSD new payment portal SchoolCash. Some students who scored “Exceeds Expectations” on SC Ready in the spring may qualify to test at no cost. Please check your students form that went home for clarification.

Accommodations: If your student has an IEP or 504 with testing accommodations and plans to test with accommodations, guardians are responsible for completing the SSD accommodations submission process by Monday August 17th.

What a great start to the school year here at Beck. Our students and staff have settled in quickly, and it has been exciting to see the energy, enthusiasm, and sense of community throughout the building. We have seen an immediate increase in attendance and a reduction in disciplinary referrals compared to the first two weeks last year. We are especially looking forward to our upcoming clubs and extracurricular opportunities, which will give students even more ways to explore their interests, build relationships, and get involved in our school community. Volleyball season is just around the corner, and we are excited to cheer on our athletes as they represent Beck with pride and teamwork. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping us get the year off to such a positive start. Every piece matters here at Beck.
