Tourist interest

Belintash is one of the most mysterious and ancient megalithic complexes in the world. It is a rock platform with a length of about 300 meters, and on it are carved many mysterious round holes, niches, gutters and steps, the purpose of which has not yet been solved by science.It is believed that in ancient times the Belintash plateau was used by the Thracians as an astronomical observatory.

Things to see

There are many theories about what Belintash is;

1. An alien station where ships have landed;

2. Noah's ark landed there after the flood;

3. There is buried a treasure of Alexander the Great;

4. Ancient god visited the "earth".

What exactly did Belintash serve and what secrets does he hide?

Here is what Granny Vanga says: "Belintash will reveal his secrets after the eighth victim! " You are probably now asking yourself: "How many victims are there so far?" - there are 4 documented victims - two struck by lightning and two fallen from the rock. Many treasure hunters, supporters of the theory of innumerable treasure, have already searched the area many times.

Things to do

The top is a huge flat rock, almost without vegetation. This is the first mystery - how a kind of peak can be flat for 300 meters.

On the rock itself there are many strange gutters, niches. steps and wells. The scientific name of these wells is cisterns, which means a container for collecting rainwater. They are round holes in almost perfect shape with a depth of up to 2 meters and a half always filled with water. They are so well shaped and with smooth walls that many archaeologists they wonder how the ancient Thracians managed to make them with the technology of that time. They date back more than 6000-7000 years. They used rainwater for ritual purposes. The Thracians immersed themselves in rainwater, which gathered in the two large wells in the rocks and thus acquired extraordinary power and knowledge. The ritual was performed on days when the small lakes reflected the moon and sun. People thought that this was how they connected with the space and its divine power.

Belintash phenomenon

Wells are just one of the mysteries here. The whole plateau is dotted with strange groups of holes, some of which are connected by gutters. Astronomers believe that this is a celestial map, others that it is a code that we can not read, others think that it is a landmark for alien aircraft. One of the strangest phenomena on the Belintash plateau is the so-called lens. You can see 4 small holes located at equal distances from each other. Between them there is a very strange niche that looks like a lens or a sphere, as if made of a rocket jet. There is moss and vegetation all around the place, but only there is it completely bare.Another interesting phenomenon associated with the mysterious plateau is its strong energy field. One feels a positive mood and calm. Many people say that they come to Belintash to recharge their batteries. The place is determined by increased magnetic activity. The compass needle rotates like crazy, the electronics sometimes fail, mobile phones lose range.

The locals

Locals do not see the coat as a tourist destination, but as a place they are afraid of. Some say they constantly see side lights over the plateau in the evening, as they are most common in October. Others say "Don't go there! Dark forces are hovering!

Noah's ark , Alexander the Great and Sebazius

The other thesis about Belintash is a bit more religious, but much more interesting - Noah's ark landed on Belintash after the flood. The rings to which the ship's ropes were tied are clearly visible on the rock. Did the chosen ones of God, who were to continue our race, really land on Belintash?

The third theory is a favorite of treasure hunters and it states that somewhere around Belintash a chariot of pure gold weighing 800 kg was buried. The great general Alexander Macedon waged war against the Thracians and his campaign passed through Belintash. it was hidden somewhere in the vicinity According to some people, this carriage is just a metaphor, and the real treasure is some great knowledge or wisdom.

After finding a silver plaque with the image of the god Sebazius, the son of the mother goddess of the Thracians, scholars began to think that Belintash was a sanctuary built in his honor.
