We have a special parent/K.I.S.S. event on Wednesday, April 29, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., to celebrate role models. Interactive activities and light refreshments will be provided.

Parents/guardians, please join us as we continue to build community between our students and their parents/families.

RSVPs are due by Friday, April 24.

Parents, attendance is very important. When students miss a day, arrive late, or leave early, it impacts their education and can be disruptive to the classroom. Please make every effort to have your child at school every day and on time. School begins at 9:10 a.m. and ends at 4:10 p.m. We understand that illnesses, appointments, and family emergencies happen; if your child is absent, please inform the main office by calling 414-902-8600 and pressing 1 for the attendance line to leave a message. If you need any assistance or support related to attendance, please contact our School Social Worker, Ms. Buschmann, at 414-902-8631.

To help encourage strong attendance, we are excited to bring back….

Our Annual March Madness Attendance Tournament!

This is how it works: classrooms with the best attendance for each round will advance and earn rewards along the way. The final two classrooms will compete in a fun basketball game at Manitoba School. You can support your child’s class by ensuring they attend school every day and arrive on time, as tardies count against the classroom. Currently, the classrooms still in the competition are: 103 vs. 107, 204 vs. 105, 120 vs. 202, and 121 vs. 102.

We at Manitoba are proud to feature our employees in each newsletter. Teachers, assistants, and staff all have the opportunity to lead and build community with our students. It is an honor to highlight our special education teachers, including lead teacher, Ms. Martinez and paraprofessionals Ms. Figueroa and Ms. Rollins this month! We are so proud to share that our school play was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and celebrate their hard work and talent.

A very special thank you goes to our play director, Ms. Rachel, for her incredible heart, passion for the arts, and unwavering dedication to our students. Her commitment and enthusiasm made this experience truly meaningful for all involved.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the helpers and assistants who gave so generously of their time and energy behind the scenes. Your efforts were essential in bringing the production to life!

A special thank you to Nurse Jeanne for her immense support and dedication to both the play and our school community. As she prepares to retire at the end of this school year, we wish her all the very best and extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude for her years of service.

memorable and successful event!

Manitoba School hosted our community partners as they joined us for Read Across America. They made time to read to our students and are interested in future partnerships with our school.
