Deer RunNewsletterFriday, December 12, 2025

Deer Run Families,

Thank you for your continued support throughout this school year. It’s hard to believe we are heading into our final week of school in 2025! We are grateful for the partnership you’ve shown and the many ways you contribute to our community.

This week was filled with joy and excitement: our second graders shined during their Winter Concert, first graders had a wonderful time creating gingerbread houses, and our fourth graders enjoyed a festive Grinch Day. It was a memorable week for our students and staff!

As we wrap up the year, please be sure to read the important updates included below.

Thank you again for all you do for Deer Run!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Dismissal Changes

In the event of an emergency and the need to change a student's dismissal method be sure to send an email to the classroom teacher AND the attendance email (Dres_attendance@dublinschools.net). Teachers are extremely busy during the school day, therefore, it is not guaranteed that the teacher would have time to review the parent email prior to dismissal. Be sure to submit changes as early as possible to increase the likelihood that the communication will be received by our school team prior to dismissal.

Student Car Drop Off and Pick Up

As a reminder, car drop off and pick up for all students should take place at the back door of the school. Last school year, students were being dropped off at Grizzell, in the school parking lot, and in the neighborhood adjacent to the school. We want to ensure that all of our students are safely dropped off at school, therefore only the backdoor area should be used. Also, we also want to be considerate of our neighbors that live in the homes adjacent to the school. Therefore, adhering to this guidelines is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
