Hello Anderson Families,
My name is Joshua Lundquist, the new art teacher at Anderson Elementary. It has been a great start to the year and we have seen so much creativity and enthusiasm here in the Anderson art studio. We have opened a number of centers which students have access to choose from while creating their art, with many more centers to come.
Students are learning to direct their artwork individually, which allows for a wide variety of artistic voices, media, and concepts to be expressed. Students are also learning how to share their imaginative creations with classmates in person and with you digitally! Please take a moment to assure that you are connected with your children through the program Artsonia. Through this platform, students will curate a collection of artwork through their time at Anderson, providing a digital portfolio and record of their hard work.
