Hey, RMS Families!
It's been such a busy and productive week here at school! You can really feel the momentum building as everyone settles into their academic rhythm. We cannot wait to share some of the fantastic things happening around our school as we dive deeper into the academic year.
Diving Into Learning
This week, our students and staff truly embraced the heart of what school is all about – learning together. Teachers launched into their curriculum with enthusiasm, and students responded with curiosity and engagement. The energy in classrooms has been incredible to witness as everyone has shifted into full academic mode! Our staff deserves recognition for their thoughtful lesson planning and creative approaches that have students excited about learning.
Prosper Promise Committee Opportunity
I'd like to share an exciting opportunity for families who want to get more involved in our district. Prosper ISD, through the Prosper Promise, is dedicated to fostering deep and meaningful connections within our expanding community. The district believes that continued success is rooted in strong, collaborative partnerships among students, parents, staff and the wider community. They're providing various opportunities for connection, including advisory committees, informational meetings, and community events. To maximize the benefit of valued stakeholder input, several committees have been established where interested individuals may apply here.
Student Pick-Up After Events
As we get into our extracurricular events this year, we wanted to inform everyone about our campus policy for after-school events. Students attending events as spectators need to be picked up by 8:00 PM or shortly after the event ends, whichever comes first (unless they're with a parent at the game). This helps us make sure everyone gets home safely. Please keep in mind that students who aren't picked up on time may not be able to attend future events.

As we head into Labor Day weekend, I hope your families have a wonderful, relaxing, and fun-filled four-day break. Enjoy the extra time together, and we'll see everyone back on Wednesday, September 3rd for another great week of learning!
