SLO Goal Setting Task
Reminder that the 2026-27 SLO Goal Setting and PDP task should be submitted by teachers by October 8, 2026. Primary appraisers have a scoring and conference deadline of October 15, 2026. We are hosting SLO training sessions to provide support with your SLO development. During the session, we cover the SLO process and assist teachers with planning their SLO. You can sign up to attend these sessions in Cornerstone.
Here are additional reminders regarding the SLO process:
- Resources to support the SLO process can be found on our TEI Resources Page under the SLO section.
- Teachers will select an entire class section for their SLO. Elementary self-contained teachers should select their entire class section and focus on one skill or standard from a single subject. Elementary departmentalized and secondary teachers should select their most representative class or section, taking into consideration the diversity of students' skill levels.
- Teachers of one-semester courses should also select a representative class from the sections they teach during the fall semester. Teachers will enter their data once the Mid-Year and Goal Accomplishment tasks are launched in Cornerstone in late fall.
- Teachers who do not teach a core class (such as Special Education Inclusion, GT, etc.) should select a subset of their students and collaborate with classroom teachers on a similar focus area. For example, an Inclusion or TAG teacher may partner with a specific grade level to focus on an area that supports the campus's goals.
Teachers will submit the SLO Growth Tracker with the grey section completed AND the SLO Form in Cornerstone.
