Dear Walkertown Middle School Community,

I am honored to have been selected as the principal of Walkertown Middle School. Go Wolfpack!!

As the principal at Walkertown Middle School, I want to extend to you and your family a new or renewed warm welcome. The middle years are an exciting time when children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. Each year will provide important transitions and the acquisition of new skills that will enhance each student’s ability to apply learning in many ways. Walkertown Middle School is committed to providing a challenging and rigorous curriculum that helps each student progress at a developmentally appropriate rate and provides a safe environment for all students.

Sincerely,

Mónica Bruce

PBIS-Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

  • Effective August 2022, WMS will restructure and implement PBIS. Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed.
  • Our PBIS Program supports a positive climate for all students. We hope that this brochure will inform you of our program, help you support our program, and allow us to support you in setting positive expectations for your child’s behavior in school and at home.
