MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL KENELY
Dear Dolphin Families,
My heart is absolutely full after seeing our community come together for Open House last Thursday night. There is something truly special about watching our students take the lead, proudly guiding you through the halls to showcase the hard work they’ve put in this year.
It was wonderful to see so many of you pausing to admire the AMAZING artwork lining our hallways; our students’ creativity was on full display, and your appreciation truly meant the world to them. Seeing the classrooms buzzing with energy as you explored the learning and projects was a true highlight, but more than anything, the smiles and conversations reminded me of exactly why I was called to lead. Seeing our mission come to life in those interactions is a gift I don't take for granted.
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to support your children and our staff. Your partnership is what makes our school family so strong.

Student Council: TEPSA Song Award
Back in October student council officers attended the TEPSA leadership conference. They created a song about leadership to the tune of a popular song from Wicked. It was entered into the state of Texas TEPSA contest. There were 343 submission and this morning we were awarded with first place! The directors came to present us the award at our assembly. We are so proud of our leaders!!!
District 5th Grade Honor Choir Performance
Congratulations are in order for our 5th-grade choir representatives and their music teacher, Olivia Norine. Last Tuesday, they represented our school with excellence at the District 5th Grade Honor Choir performance.
It takes a great deal of discipline and talent to perform at this level, and we are incredibly proud of the way these students showcased theirs.
We encourage you to take a few minutes this week to fill out a Recognize Someone form! This is a wonderful way to share your appreciation for a teacher, staff member, or even our Principal or Assistant Principal. A few kind words can go a long way in brightening someone’s day and reminding them of the impact they are making.

Want to go on Class Field Trips this year? Volunteer on campus?
If you are wanting to attend your child's field trips, help with events, or volunteer on campus you MUST have a VOLY background check complete. It is a very easy process and nice to get out of the way early before it's too late!
Lewisville ISD's VOLY site is open and ready to accept volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year. All volunteers on LISD campuses must have an approved background check on file. LISD uses LewisvilleISD.voly.org to post volunteer opportunities and to process background checks. Please go to the site and either create an account or update your account from a previous year. VOLY also has an app! You can find it in the app store for either Apple or Android products. Be sure to select that you want to work with Lewisville ISD. We look forward to having you on campus as a volunteer soon!
