Melville Mission

In partnership with families and community, the mission of Melville Elementary School is to provide all students with a strong academic foundation through diverse and challenging instruction in a safe and nurturing environment enabling them to achieve their greatest potential while developing self-confidence, respect, responsibility, compassion and a love of learning.

It's Time for the Melville Fun Run! It's Time for the Melville Fun Run!

Event Details:
Melville Fun Run
Thursday, May 21
(Rain Date: Friday, May 22)

How Fundraising Works:
Families can help students collect donations through the online platform in two ways:
• A flat donation
• A per-lap pledge

What These Fundraisers Support:
In addition to supporting the many programs we offer throughout the year, funds raised will help us work toward important school improvements, including:
• Repaving the blue-top basketball courts to create a safer play area
• Installing a new sound and projection system in the cafeteria
• Adding a protective sun shade for the Outdoor Classroom (if funding allows)

We are so grateful for the continued support of our Melville community. Your participation truly makes a difference and helps us provide meaningful opportunities for all students.

It’s never too late to get involved! If you’re interested in volunteering, please stop by the front office and speak with Mrs. O’Brien or Mrs. Courville to ensure you are VIS (Volunteer in School) approved.

Thank you for your support—we can’t wait for this fun and exciting event!
