Principal Update

Greetings Kratt Families and Students.

Red Ribbon Week is NEXT week October 26-30 at school. The flier is included so families can plan in advance. We will cap our celebration week with a color run. I am also including the Conference week schedule also October 26-30 as each school day is an early release and I know that involves planning for our families

Thank you to everyone that came to our first ever Art Show. It was a huge success and our school raised over 2,300 dollars to put towards student classroom experiences.

A special shout out to our staff for putting it on and teachers for all the work in the classroom.

Our focus for this year will be the families, friends and community partners supporting our school in effort to provide continued experiences like field trips for each grade level in the coming years. The color run will not be a donation on a per lap basis, but rather a celebration of our students and families helping our school. At the same time, we will be working to secure community partnerships. Your help is greatly appreciated in keeping the student experiences at our school.

Tuesday is an Early Release Day. Letters covering October Educational topics can be found on our website.

Have a great week.

Mr. Kaup

Be on the lookout for a flier and pledge sheets that came home. All money brought in will stay with your child's grade level and will be used to fund class experiences like field trips next year.

Also, as a reminder, food deliveries are not allowed by anyone unless listed as an emergency contact. This includes parents having items delivered to school via door dash, uber eats, or any other service.

After School Program

2026-2027 After School Program (ASP) Update

We have hired a new Coordinator!

My name is Tria Xiong, and I'm excited to join Kratt Elementary as your Extended Learning Coordinator. I bring over 10 years of experience in the after school programs, where I've supported students academically, created engaging enrichment activities, and built strong relationships with staff, students, and families.

I believe in teamwork, open communication, and creating a safe and inclusive environment where both staff and students feel supported and valued. My goal is to work together with all of you to build a strong, high-quality program that meets the needs of our students.

I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you, learning from your experiences, and growing together as a team. Please feel free to reach out at any time. I'm here to support you.

Thank you, and I'm excited to get started!
