Principal's Message
Hello Spartan Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,
Congratulations to Sean O’Donnell and Hailey Miller on being voted by their classmates as this year’s Homecoming King and Queen. These two represent everything we hope for all of our Spartans. They are kind, respectful and honest at all times at school. They have also used their time at Lakeview High School to grow personally, academically, and socially. Also, congratulations to all of our Homecoming Court members for being recognized by their fellow Seniors.
Tonight we have our last home football game of the 2026 season against our crosstown rivals from Battle Creek Central. The weather looks like it is going to be outstanding! All Spartan fans should use the main gate facing LHS for entrance this evening. All students will need their ID to get in free to the game! I hope to see a great turnout from our Spartan community!
Sincerely,
Cody Japinga

Parent Survey
The survey takes less than five minutes to complete. Your time is very much appreciated.
Your responses are confidential, and honest feedback will guide our efforts to create a supportive school environment for everyone.
If you have children at more than one Lakeview school, please complete a survey for each school using the survey link specific to that building.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we can make our school the best it can be!
Bus Drop Off Circle
As a reminder, at no time should parents be dropping students off in the bus circle behind LHS. For the safety of all students, please drop students off at any of the points out front - the drop off circle and the D lot are for parent dropoffs.
Immunization Reminder
LHS Attendance Notes
To help us reduce classroom interruptions, we ask that, whenever possible, you call ahead to excuse your student for appointments so a pass can be prepared for your student. Not only can we get students ready for you to pick up in a timely manner, getting them a pass ahead of time prevents us from calling into classrooms and interrupting instruction.
If your student is sick, please encourage them to head to the attendance office to call home instead of using their cell phone. Other than being against school rules, it also makes the process more efficient by eliminating the need to have you take multiple calls.
When calling, please provide the following information:
Student’s full name and spelling
Grade level
Your relationship to the student
Reason for the absence
Thank you for helping us reduce classroom interruptions and allowing our Spartans to thrive!
