Hello, Fallbrook Students & Families,

We're launching into week two of the school year and the energy on campus has been fantastic. A few updates as we head into this week:

Flashback to Friday's First Pep Rally of the 2026-27 School Year
Our Warriors kicked off the year with their first pep rally of the season on Friday. A huge shout-out to all of the students who worked behind the scenes and at the event to usher us into a new school year! Check out ASB's recap video below, and be sure to follow them on Instagram for important updates about student events throughout the year!

Back to School Night: Monday, August 24th
Join us starting at 5:30pm for our opening presentation, followed by classroom visits. Families are welcome to arrive early to tour campus, grab treats from a couple of food trucks, and preview some of our programs before the evening's presentations begin. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, see classrooms, and learn more about what your student is experiencing this year.

Warrior PRIDE Time "Movement" Launches This Week
This week marks the start of "movement weeks" during Warrior PRIDE Time (WPT), our advisory support period. On Monday, students will work with their homeroom teachers to determine their placement for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday's flex offerings with their Period 1-5 teachers.

To help your student navigate this aspect of their weekly schedule, please review the links in the "Warrior PRIDE Time" section below. These include:

  • A slideshow including a breakdown of the purpose of WPT, and how it functions on our campus
  • A "how-to" guide for students that covers how they can check throughout the week for reminders of where they've been scheduled and with whom

Thank you for your continued support and participation in your student's education. We look forward to seeing you on the 24th for Back-to-School Night!

If there is anything you need, please feel free to reach out by telephone at (760) 723-6300 x3102, x3110, or x3103, or by email through our website.

Let's make this a great week, Warriors!

Our counseling office thanks you for your patience and understanding as they work through schedule adjustments, change requests, and balancing. During this time of class balancing, some students may see a change to their schedules; the purpose of class balancing is to ensure equitable class sizes across subject areas, grade levels, and trimesters. While we understand that change can be difficult, we truly believe that the benefits to students and staff of having balanced class sizes outweighs the initial difficulty of change.

Counselor Caseloads for 2026-27

A-C: Mr. Rodriguez (frodriguez@fuhsd.net)

D-Hen: Ms. Ramirez (eramirez@fuhsd.net)

Her-Me: Ms. Archuleta-Moya (carchuletamoya@fuhsd.net)

Mi-Roc: Ms. Vazquez (avazquez@fuhsd.net)

Rod-Z: Ms. Jimenez (cjimenez@fuhsd.net)

We are very excited to welcome Ms. Ramirez to the Fallbrook High School Counseling Team! If your last name begins with D-Hen, be sure to stop by the counseling office and introduce yourself!

Scheduling Concerns

Counselors are actively addressing the limited number of scheduling issues that may still exist as of the first day of school. All students should follow their assigned schedule while they await an answer regarding a schedule change request. Students with double periods, with a missing class, or a "See Counselor" note should visit the counseling office during the doubled or missing period to address the issue with a counselor. Students with complete schedules must attend classes and wait for a counselor to communicate regarding any requested schedule changes.

Schedule Change Policies:

  1. No Teacher Change Requests: We are unable to accommodate requests for changes based on teacher preference.
  2. No Trimester or Period Changes: We cannot make adjustments to specific periods or trimesters.
  3. Space Availability: Schedule changes are dependent on space availability in courses.
  4. Multiple Changes: Please note that requesting a change in one course may result in adjustments to other courses in your schedule.

Scan the QR code on the flier above, or click HERE to submit a schedule change request.

Last Day to Submit a Schedule Change Request is Wednesday, August 19th, 2026!

Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up Map Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up Map

Please remember to be patient and leave plenty of time to drop your student off in the morning, as well as when picking them up in the afternoon. The middle gates on Stagecoach Lane will be open for families to enter and drop off along the baseball field. The front "horseshoe" loop will be open ONLY for staff parking in the staff lot. Parents may also utilize the student parking lot loop on Winterhaven for student drop-off and pick-up. There will be no student drop-off or pick-up in the pool parking lot or the gravel lot nearest to Mission, as these are both reserved busing zones.

As a reminder, staff begin transitioning to necessary dismissal roles and locations during the last 25 minutes of the day, which means that they are not available to do early checkouts; parents wishing to check their students out early will need to arrange to complete that process prior to the final 25 minutes of the school day.

Student Driver Parking Locations & Parking Passes Student Driver Parking Locations & Parking Passes

Licensed Drivers may complete a parking permit application to park vehicles on campus. Parking Permit Applications are available in the AP Office. Parking Permit enforcement will begin the week of August 24th.

Appropriate student parking lots are noted on the map below and listed here:

1) Senior Reserved Lot: for senior students who have paid for a senior parking spot.

2) Senior/Junior/Sophomore Parking Lots:

Winterhaven (just west of Ivy High School's front gate)

Parking Lot Behind Visitor Bleachers (accessible off of Stage Coach Lane)

District Overflow Lot (this should be a last resort; please do not park in the main district office parking lot (smaller lot closest to district office/Oasis High School buildings)

NOTE: Parking Permits are required in ALL district lots, including the District Overflow Lot!

PLEASE HELP US BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS IN OUR COMMUNITY BY PARKING IN DESIGNATED AREAS ON CAMPUS

It has been brought to our attention by our neighbors to the north and south that students are parking in neighborhoods, frequently blocking driveways, hydrants, and roadways. Please help us to maintain positive relationships with our neighbors on all sides by utilizing the available parking on campus. If you arrive late to school and can't access one of the parking lots, drive through the front horseshoe loop and ask the front gate to radio for someone to open one of the available parking lots for you.
