Dear HRMS Families,

Welcome to a new school year! It was a true pleasure to meet our students last week and officially kick off what is sure to be a wonderful and successful year of learning and growth.

A huge thank you to all families who visited with us at our Back-to-School night!

The first week was dedicated to settling in and building school community. The grade level assemblies were full of excitement and fun. We spent time getting to know each other through icebreaker games and group activities, establishing our daily routines, and exploring the classrooms and building. It has been amazing to see the students' enthusiasm and positive attitudes as they reconnect with old friends and make new ones.

Our focus for the first few weeks will be on building a strong foundation. Teachers will be getting to know students through activities that will be setting clear expectations for classroom behavior and academic success.

As we begin this journey together, please remember that communication is key. I encourage you to reach out to your students' teachers with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year. I am also available to assist. The best way to contact me is through email at teresa.vibar@spps.org. Please use the school number to connect with me by phone, 651-293-8860.

I hope to see you at our first Coffee with the Principal this Wednesday from 8:15-9:00am. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a memorable and successful year for your child. Thank you for entrusting me with their education.

Sincerely,

Teresa Vibar

Principal
