Faith in the Everyday
St. Martin de Porres was a 17th century Dominican friar who dedicated his life to healing the sick, feeding the hungry, and caring for those in need. Despite facing prejudice and poverty, Martin approached every task with radical love and humility. He famously reminds us:
"Even small things, like cleaning or helping someone, can be a prayer if we do it for God.”
St. Martin's life shows us that holiness is found in the quiet ways we serve those around us every day. How can you turn one small task today into an offering of love?
May we see every ordinary moment as an opportunity to serve God and love those in need!
