As the temperatures get colder, a reminder to please make sure all clothing is labeled: coats, hats, and mittens. It is best to dress your children in layers since the building can get very warm inside. Also be sure your children are wearing safe and functional footwear (sneakers, snow boots, rubber soled shoes).

A reminder, next Friday, 12/13 is an early release day for all DFP students. A reminder that students in Miss Jess' afternoon class come in the morning and there is NO school for the morning class (PLEASE read the below message).

On Friday, 12/13 we will have a special visitor: Mrs Claus! (also known as our SLP Baileigh Savini's mom, Donna). She will visit the classrooms, sing a song, tell a story and take some pictures. We are excited for this visit.

*A special note for students in Jess Pyrcz's class. Since that is an early release day and the afternoon class comes in the morning, we invite students in the MORNING class to come to DFP at 10:40 so they can meet her. Parents of students in the morning class, please stay nearby as your children will be dismissed at 11 am.

On Tuesday 12/17 we host musical guest (and parent) Mr. Moyes who will sing some holiday songs with our students here at DFP. This will be a fun and engaging event for all!

Peer applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available online January 3, 2025. Applicants will be selected via lottery system and there will be more information about the application timeline and process in November. Please be sure to check our website for application information. All information is updated and can be found on the home page under APPLICATION.
