All families are welcome, and we encourage you to join us! Families are welcome to attend in person or virtually. Virtual meeting links will be shared prior to each meeting.
TEACHER IN SERVICE - DISTRICT CLOSED
No School for Students – Monday, October 12th
Washington Borough School District will be closed on Monday, October 12th for a scheduled Teacher In Service Day. This day provides our teachers and staff with valuable time for professional learning and planning.
School will resume on Tuesday, October 13th. We hope our students and families enjoy the long weekend!
A NEW LOOK FOR REPORT CARDS
This approach provides families with a clearer picture of what students know and are able to do by focusing on specific learning standards and skills, rather than simply reporting an overall subject grade.
Standards-based reporting helps us better communicate student strengths, areas for growth, and progress toward grade-level expectations, giving families a more detailed understanding of their child’s learning journey. We look forward to partnering with families as we make this important transition.
New This Year: Three Trimester Report Cards
We’re excited to introduce a three-trimester academic year for students this year. Report cards for students in grades K-6 will be released on the following dates:
Trimester 1: December 22
Trimester 2: March 25
Trimester 3: June 17
FACILITY UPGRADES
Our facilities teams were hard at work preparing our schools for the new year! We’re excited to share that several facility upgrades and improvements were completed throughout the summer, helping to enhance our buildings and create welcoming, functional spaces for our students and staff.
