Dear Parents and Guardians,
We’re excited to celebrate the success of our fall sports teams this season! A special congratulations to our Girls Soccer Team for making it to the championship game in the playoffs. We’re incredibly proud of all our Oak Hill Raiders for their hard work and dedication—Go Raiders!
We’d also like to recognize and commend all of our student-athletes for their participation and the outstanding way they represent our school. They truly embody the spirit of Oak Hill Middle School, and we couldn’t be prouder.
As we head into November, here are some important dates and updates to keep in mind:
- November 1: School Dance - All school dances are for grades 6-8. However, we also host a yearly dance for 5th and 6th graders, which will take place on April 11th from 2 PM to 4 PM.
To keep you informed, check out the OHMS Important Event Document with details about upcoming events here at OHMS.
As always, we’d appreciate your participation—whether it’s volunteering, chaperoning, or joining your student for lunch. Please fill out a volunteer packet and see more information here: https://www.rsu4.org/page/volunteer-information
- November 11: Veterans Day - No School. Let’s take this time to honor and appreciate our veterans.
- November 12: Picture Re-Take Day - For students who missed the first picture day or need retakes.
- November 13: Parent-Teacher Conferences - We look forward to discussing your child’s progress and goals for the school year. Please sign-up with your child's advisory teacher. If there is not a time slot available please reach out to your child's teacher or the front office for assistance.

Habits of Work
Habits of Work at Oak Hill Middle School are used to assess student's behaviors and expectations. Additionally, they are also used to determine eligibility for extra & co-curricular activities. This eligibility check occurs roughly every three weeks over the school year and students are required to have 2's and above on all habits to continue with their activities. Please see the attached image that displays each habit and how they are assessed.
