Registration for the 26-27 School Year is Open!
Being All in Aledo isn’t just a commitment - it’s a way of life
At Aledo ISD, we are Growing Greatness by creating exceptional experiences for our students to find what they love! We don’t just educate - we empower every Bearcat to discover their unique path and thrive. We're ready to continue that journey together next year, and registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open! Registration is an online process; click the link below for more information.
We urge you to get your registration complete as soon as possible because it helps us with staffing and planning for next school year!
Registering NOW helps ensure that your child’s spot at their zoned school is guaranteed since we are currently working on staffing. Your registration now also helps ensure your child’s course selections for middle and high school are still valid and helps secure elementary teacher assignments. Our counselors and admin teams are currently working on scheduling for next year.
Because of this, we ask that you register your student by Friday, May 1!
Does your student want to keep their district-issued Chromebook during the summer? READ BELOW!
This information is for incoming 7th- through 12th-grade students only! Incoming 6th graders will have opportunities to get their district-issued device later in the summer; stay tuned for more information!
We will continue to have a Device Protection Plan (DPP) that students must pay for in order to check out a district-issued Chromebook for the school year. DPP charges will be paid through MySchoolBucks; you will see an option in the Store portion of MySchoolBucks to pay the 2026-2027 Device Protection Program fee beginning on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Just as we did last year, if you pay for the DPP for the 2026-2027 school year by the end of the day on Sunday, May 10, 2026, your student may keep their district-issued Chromebook over the summer and keep that same Chromebook for the 2026-2027 school year. Please note that all filtering and restrictions on our district-issued Chromebooks will stay in place over the summer, even if you take the Chromebook out of district.
The DPP is $27, and this covers unlimited breakage on the Chromebook; the charger is not covered.
Join Us April 21 for Committed to the Cats!
Committed to the Cats is a one-of-a-kind Pre-K and Kindergarten special event designed to celebrate the start of each child’s educational journey. Inspired by university signing days, this special event gives families of incoming Aledo ISD kinder and Pre-K students the opportunity to prepare their students for the 2026-27 school year in an exciting and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees can meet their future teachers, explore available student resources, and connect with community partners who support their child’s success. Join us as we officially welcome the next generation of Bearcats!
Please register for the 26-27 school year before this event to make your check-in process quick and easy! We will also have registration specialists available to help you complete your registration at the event.

Another Unforgettable Night at Dinner Theater!
An unforgettable night of talent, joy and connection at Aledo High School!
The 11th Annual Functional Academics Dinner Theater once again brought the house down as our students took the stage to sing, dance and entertain a packed audience. From the spotlight to the serving floor, these students did it all by welcoming guests, taking orders and delivering meals while building real-world job skills and meaningful interpersonal connections.
More than just a performance, Dinner Theater is a powerful example of students growing in confidence, independence and communication, all while creating a night full of music, laughter and fun for everyone.
A special thank you to the Aledo ISD Special Programs Department, Aledo ISD 18+ Transitions Program, student and staff volunteers, Aledo Education Foundation and all who helped make this incredible evening possible. Your support continues to create opportunities that truly make a difference.
