We understand that dismissal at Days Park is a challenge because of the limited parking. However, in order to keep our students, staff, and families safe, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following dismissal guidelines:

* Please do not double park.

* Please follow all parking signs.

* Please do not block any of our crosswalks when picking up your child.

We appreciate you doing your part in keeping our school community safe and our dismissal running smoothly.

Families, we need your support! Please read the following reminders to ensure a smooth and safe transition:

Arrival

1. Pull all the way forward during carline dropoff. This will allow easier transitions and save time for all families.

2. Do not enter the bus loop before 8:10 a.m. Before this time this space is for bus usage.

Dismissal

1. Remember to set your School Dismissal manager. If you have any changes for a specific day enter that within the app.

2. Follow the line to safely receive your child.

3. We will be sharing family codes to allow check-in on a daily basis. Once you are close enough to the building you can self check-in using the app.

We are not accepting Door Dash or other food delivery services for students. These items will not be accepted at the Main Office. Please do not send food deliveries to the school.

The EVCS Salad bar will be reopening for students the week of October 2nd.

• This will be available for all grade levels.
• Student may only visit once per lunch.
• Students will be supported by both BPS food service and our lunch supervision team.

One of the ways EVCS maintains a sense of community and connectedness is through active social media channels, parent communications, and website updates. Even if you think you have communicated this to us previously, you should still complete this form to assure that your child's name is included on our "do not photo" list of students. Please complete a form for each child that attends EVCS.

You are invited to attend an upcoming community meeting on the Olmsted landscapes in your neighborhood. This meeting will feature an engagement session on the future of the Prospect Park Shelter, and other park project updates.

Yearly physicals need to be submitted as soon as possible. If your child does not have a physical on file, they may be excluded from sports and field trips.

As the weather begins to change, we will begin to see an uptick in illness. Please follow the guidelines below if your child is sick:

Children should stay home if:

* They have a fever above 100.0. Students can return when their temperature is normal for 24-hours, without the use of fever reducing meds.

* Constant cough

* Vomiting and/or diarrhea

* Eye discharge that is yellow or green in color
